Real Estate Education Provider Policies:

Attendance Policy:

To receive credit for any course, students must attend 100% of scheduled instructional hours. Attendance is verified through sign-in sheets or digital logs and must be reported to DOPL within five business days of course completion.

For CE and post-license courses, partial attendance results in no credit. Students must attend missed portions in a future offering to receive credit.

  • Students MUST sign in for both morning and afternoon, the day of the class.
  • A student who misses any portion (even a few minutes) of a course taken for CE elective credit WILL NOT receive credit for the course.

Refund Policy

Refunds are available under the following conditions:

  • Students who cancel in writing at least five business days before the course start date are eligible for a refund, minus the cost of any materials already received.
  • No refunds are issued for non-attendance or cancellations made after the deadline.
  • If the provider cancels a course due to low enrollment or other reasons, students will receive a full refund.
  • If a course is rescheduled, students may choose to attend the new date or request a full refund.
  • Refunds are processed within 10 business days of the request.

Provider Cancelation Policy

If the provider cancels or reschedules a course:

  • Students will be notified promptly via email or phone.
  • Affected students may choose to attend the rescheduled session or receive a full refund.
  • Courses may be canceled if minimum enrollment is not met.

Exam Confidentiality and Security Policy

All exams must be administered using DOPL-approved content. Students are prohibited from retaining, copying, or sharing exam materials.

  • Exams are collected immediately after completion.
  • Alternate versions are used for retakes; a passing score is 70% or higher.
  • Exam content and student performance data are kept confidential.
  • Instructors and staff may not solicit or discuss licensing exam questions.

Cornerstone Tech & Estate Advisors adheres to the minimum teaching standards of the Commission. Cornerstone Tech & Estate Advisors will collect all completed course examinations and will not allow students to retain copies of final course examinations.

Accommodation Policy

We are committed to providing equal access to education. Students requiring accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) should submit requests in writing at least two weeks before the course start date.

Requests will be reviewed promptly and handled with confidentiality. Approved accommodations will be implemented without delay.
